Teresa Buquerin looks forward to welcome you to Hotel Ayllón boutique hotel in Segovia province.

The hotel is located in the old part of Ayllon, beautiful and well-preserved town full of historic 16th and 17th century buildings. Not for nothing it was declared Property of Cultural Interest. Crossing the porch next to the Romanesque church of San Miguel, you enter the hotel. And if the building that houses the hotel represents the sober popular architecture, the decor is a nice example of new interior design: A bright and comfortable space, cosmopolitan and sophisticated, state-of-the-art but also cosy and natural.

The 18 rooms – including four junior suites – are all different but have a common denominator: They are decorated with furniture made by cabinetmakers who took as a reference the twentieth-century designers. They are characterized by clean shapes and the use of untreated wood, Carrara marble and Sepúlveda stone. They have ample space for relaxing or reading and views, either through balconies, terraces or dormer windows, to the landscaped patio or the old part of Ayllón.

El Patio Restaurant

The El Patio restaurant has stone columns and flooring and limestone walls and is comprised of three inter-connected dining rooms with different areas for different times of the day. The light is always on the move and there is a constant play on perspectives, asymmetries and transparencies, which juxtapose materials, textures and colours. The furniture has been tailor-made using materials such as wood and leather, linen fabrics, wrought iron and ceramics.

The menu consists of everyday dishes made from simple and tasty recipes, which are grounded in the history and culture of the area. The cuisine is based on traditional ingredients, characterized by their high quality. The menu includes a selection of carefully chosen local wines and the best regional dishes, among which oxtail, beef steak and lamb along with delicious seasonal vegetables or mushrooms.

In addition to the wide variety of products on the menu, there is also a set menu on offer from Monday to Friday.

Double rooms and junior suites

Double rooms:

The hotel has double bedrooms with all the necessary amenities, as well as a desk, fully equipped bathroom and space to relax in. There is also a room that has been adapted for the physically challenged, with the same services and amenities as the other rooms.

The sizes range from 25 to 30 sqm. The bathrooms are spacious, have shower and are decorated with Carrara marble.
All rooms have space to relax or read in and views on to the courtyard garden or Ayllón’s Historical Quarter.

Junior Suites:

How to get there

From Madrid:
Leave Madrid merging onto the A-1/E-5 motorway toward Burgos. After approx. 100 kms, take exit 103 and merge onto N-110 toward Riaza/Soria. Continue on N-110 and take exit toward Ayllón (Oeste)/Sta. María de Riaza. At the roundabout take the 1st exit to Av. Reconquista. Keep straight and continue on Av. Conde Vallellano. After having crossed the C-114 road, turn right toward Plaza Mayor.

From Barcelona:
Leave Barcelona merging onto the E-90/AP-2 motorway toward Lleida/Zaragoza. In Zaragoza take exit 319 on the left and merge onto E-804/A-68/AP-68 en dirección Logroño/Pamplona/N-122/Soria. Continue toward E-804/AP-68. Take exit 19 toward N-122, first toward Soria and then toward Aranda de Duero. Shortly before getting to San Esteban de Gormaz, follow signs for N-100 San Esteban/Segovia. Cross San Esteban de Gormaz and follow signs for N-110 Segovia. Take exit toward Ayllón. At the roundabout take the 4th exit. Turn slightly left to Paseo del Santo Cristo. Keep straight on Calle Real and then turn right to Calle San Miguel and Plaza Mayor.

From the north/Burgos:
Merge onto E-5 toward Madrid. Take exit 124 to Fresno de la Fuente. Cross the village and continue on SG-V-2332 to Grajera. Continue to Sequera de Fresno, Fresno de Cantespino, Corral de Ayllón and merge onto N-110 toward Ayllón. Take the exit to Ayllón (Oeste)/Sta. María de Riaza. At the roundabout take the 1st exit to Av. Reconquista. Keep straight and continue on Av. Conde Vallellano. After having crossed the C-114 road, turn right toward Plaza Mayor.
