Our Restaurant “Ses Cotxeries d’Alcaufar Vell” with its vaulted dining halls and the magic of its Ullastres garden, is an intimate and exclusive space. A small living room or the large hall of the tent lend themselves for memorable celebrations. And the hotel’s gardens are ideal places to enjoy a good drink or a food tasting under the trees.

For lunch or dinner “Ses Cotxeries d’Alcaufar Vell” offer Mediterranean cuisine and balanced dishes made from fresh products. Alcaufar Vell’s identity are small Minorcan tasting menus with products from our vegetable garden and desserts from the “S’Àvia Nina” cookery book.

After lunch or dinner no better place than our “Racó del poeta” Bar where to enjoy a nice drink, coffee or tea.

Double rooms and suites

The 21 double rooms and suites are intended to enjoy them: They are spacious and bright and have with wooden beams and tiled floors.

Decorated with attention to detail, all rooms and suites are equipped with air conditioning, heating, minibar, piped music, safe, flat screen TV with satellite channels, telephone, hairdryer and bathrobes. The en suite bathrooms have whirlpool hot tubs to enjoy relaxing moments.

The Superior Double Rooms and Junior Suite also have a nice private terrace with access to the garden.

The Alcaufar Vell Estate

The Alcaufar Vell estate is one of the most beautiful and tranquil spots in the southeast of Minorca, declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

Besides being surrounded by beautiful beaches with crystal clear water and fine sand, Alcaufar Vell offers a dense forest, an ancient watchtower built in 1802 facing the Mediterranean, more than 1 km of unspoilt coastline and 150 acres for walking, horseback riding or cycling.

How to get there

By car from the airport of Mahon/Minorca:

Exit the airport on the PM-809 road until getting to the junction with the Me-12 road. Turn right towards Maó. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit and soon after, at the next roundabout, again the 1st exit towards Sant Climent/Me-12. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Ctra Mateo Orfila Hospital street. Go straight until you reach another roundabout where to take the exit onto PM-702. Continue on this road. After having passed the town of Sant Lluis and at about 2.5 km you will see on your right a white building. Turn right to reach the hotel.

By car from the port:

Exit the port on Carrer Andana de Ponent street and turn left at the end of the port. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit and stay on Ctra Fornells road. When you reach an elongated roundabout, follow signs towards Sant Lluis turning left and driving through an industrial estate (on Carrer de Capifort street). At the next roundabout continue straight, taking the 2nd exit towards Sant Climent/Me-12 and at the next roundabout take the 1st exit onto Ctra  Hospital Mateo Orfila road until you reach another roundabout where to follow signs for Sant Lluis / PM-702. Continue on the PM-702, passing through the town of Sant Lluis. After approx. 2,5 km you will see on your right a white building. Turn right to reach the hotel.
