The hotel is of significant historic interest. The upper building was originally used by charcoal makers, who were amongst the first village settlers in El Berro and the lower building was a water mill, both buildings being set amongst picturesque rock formations and striking natural features. These historic buildings have been charmingly renovated using traditional construction methods with great respect for their environment. They are uniquely situated for your enjoyment in one of the most desirable locations in Sierra Espuña.

The hotel is perfectly integrated in its natural and green surroundings. With the lovely sound of the Fuente del Chorrico stream still flowing by to this day, the atmosphere is particularly tranquil and magical. Clay, metal, wood and glass – comfortingly natural materials are evident throughout the renovation along with local artists’ works that add a welcoming and colourful touch.

Superior Double Room:
Spacious room 20 to 22 m2 with large bathroom and closets. It has 1.50 x 2.00 bed with latex mattress, equipped with satellite TV, internet wi-fi, and a bathroom with rain shower, hairdryer and pool towels. In constructing natural materials have been used, such as clay, wood and glass. Heating is underfloor heating and air conditioning. All rooms have balconies and large windows that let you see the sunrise and spectacular views of the Natural Park of Sierra Espuña.

Junior Suite:
Spacious room 30 to 35 m2. with bathroom and terrace. It has a 1.50 x 2.00 bed with latex mattress, spacious closets, equipped with satellite TV, wi-fi internet, bathrobe, hairdryer and pool towels. In constructing natural materials have been used, such as clay, wood and glass. Heating is underfloor heating and air conditioning. Accesses Private terrace with two deck chairs, table and two chairs, their orientation can watch the sunrise and spectacular views of the Natural Park of Sierra Espuña.

How to get there

From Málaga/the south:
Leave Málaga merging onto the A-7/E-15 motorway direction Almería/Murcia. After approx. 350 km and having passed Lorca take the exit toward Alhama/Pliego. Merge onto RM-2 and after approx. 100 meters continue onto regional road MU-602 to Alhama de Murcia. In Alhama, at the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto Av. Ginés Campos and at the next roundabout the 1st exit onto Av. Juan Carlos I / C-3315 road. Keep following this road. At the junction toward Gebas, turn left following signs to El Berro. Once in El Berro continue on Calle Juan Bautista, then turn right onto Calle San Miguel and the 1st again right onto Calle Juan Pedro Sánchez Puerta. The next street is Calle El Paso.

From Alicante Airport/the north:
Leave the airport following signs for A-70/Murcia/AP-7/Torrevieja/Cartagena and merge onto A-70 motorway. After approx. 10 km continue onto AP-7/E-15 towards Murcia. Take exit 631 toward Alhama de Murcia and merge onto N-340a. In Alhama keep straight on Av. Ginés Campos and after approx. 400 m turn slight right onto Calle de la Isla Gomera and the 2nd right onto Av. España. After 200 m turn left onto Av. Juan Carlos I and then right onto Calle Tomás Moro / C-3315 road. Keep following this road. At the junction toward Gebas, turn left following signs to El Berro. Once in El Berro continue on Calle Juan Bautista, then turn right onto Calle San Miguel and the 1st again right onto Calle Juan Pedro Sánchez Puerta. The next street is Calle El Paso.
